Employment agency Manpower is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist who is fluent in English and Italian to join Dow in Terneuzen.

You will be welcomed into the Payment Receipt and Handling team, a group of skilled Receivable Specialists who work closely with colleagues from various teams to deliver exceptional service for all aspects related to invoices, catering to both internal and external clients. In this role, a profound understanding of your customer's portfolio and payment tendencies is essential. You won't back down from challenges; rather, you'll demonstrate independence and proactivity to ensure customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:

Serving as the primary point of contact for accounts receivable inquiries
Spearheading collections activities for accounts nearing and exceeding their due dates
Shaping customer payment behaviors
Overseeing and authorizing the removal of credit order restrictions
Issuing corrective documents to customers
Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of customer accounts
Efficiently managing account reconciliations

Working hours
The working hours in this full-time position of 40 hours per week are during regular office hours.

Bachelor level of working and thinking preferably in the field of Finance or Business Administration
An excellent command of the English and Italian language (at least level C1-level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) because of communication with customers
Affinity with Egyptian and/or Italian market is preferred, not required
Availability of 40 hours per week
A Dutch work permit that is valid for at least nine months or an EU-nationality
A certificate of conduct (Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag or VOG) that shows you have not committed any criminal offences
