Scope We are looking to expand our R&D team in Gilze, the Netherlands. The team consists of approximately 35 employees with all kinds of competences, hardware-, software- and FPGA developers and system test. The R&D team in Gilze is responsible for the development and maintenance of the Synapse and Neuron product lines.The Neuron platform is our new state-of-the-art high-speed processing board with 100Gb interfaces, 2 FPGA’s and a dual core ARM running Linux. It is used as basis for all our Neuron audio and video processing products, like the convert, protect, compress, bridge but also for audio shuffler and the new MultiViewer. The development processes are based on SAFe using the latest technologies and our build and test systems are fully automated. Job Description

Define, design, develop, simulate and test complex FPGA logic.

Participate in the continuous improvements of the development process and tools

Bachelor or University degree Electrical Engineering or equal;

Technical skills:

Several years FPGA development experience;
Experience with FPGA designs and the Xilinx and/or Altera toolchain;
Experience with VHDL development including simulation, optimization and validation;
Experience with a scripting language such as: Python, Tcl, shell scripting, etc

The following experiences are not mandatory, and will be considered as an asset:

Some embedded software/system knowledge or experience
Knowledge of video and audio technologies is an advantage;
Experience with Agile development methods and tools (E.g. Jira, CI, Gitlab)
